Revolution in the rainforest

The Yawanawá community in Acre, Brazil is developing a new model of sustainability that allows the Yawanawá to protect the rainforest and engage with the outside world on their own terms, without losing their cultural and spiritual identity.  Objective of these photographs and the other works of art is to capture the ancestral and unique way of living and seeing the world of the Yawanawá people.

The production technique is Giclée-print, a museum quality print technique. The ink is water based, the canvas is acid-free and the frames are made of durable FSC-wood.

Each work of art is numbered, hand signed and will be delivered with a certification signed by the artist and the print master. Both the canvas and paper edition are limited editions. The digital original is created in 2011. For buying works of art please contact me rini [ at ] rinihartman [ dot ] nl
